30 Ways to Nurture Yourself

If you read my last post (over here) you’ll know that it is influenza-city at our house at the moment. And while I was writing about finding the positives in a less-than ideal situation, I realised something else. In all the busyness leading up to the festive season, followed by moving house and getting set up for 2015, I had been neglecting something…

…yes, little old ME.

So I resolved to try something NEW … and I’d love to encourage you to join in!

For the next 30 days, I’m going to consciously and deliberately do one thing every day that nurtures me – body, mind, soul. It doesn’t have to be big – it just has to be intentional. It is my hope that, in the process of consciously adding this into my day, it will eventually become a cherished habit. Sounds like a good thing right!

So are you with me? I’m making a commitment to share my little act of self-nurture with you on Facebook & Instagram each day for the next 30 days, starting tomorrow. (Yes, I know it’s Friday… but what better time to start than now!) Hopefully this will show that it doesn’t need to be a big effort – it is the conscious intention that is the key. And hopefully by the end of the 30 days, we will be well on our way towards a new habit of gently nurturing ourselves, and enjoying the many rewards that come with it.

P.S. I’m not planning this out in advance! I will truly be winging it – listening to what I most need on each particular day and doing my best to honour that. I’m actually a bit nervous… but I’m really looking forward to giving myself this little gift every day.
